200% more raisins: how Bauducco outstripped its competitors

Raisin flour, raisin coating, raisin filling: 200% more raisins! It was with this product that Bauducco attracted all the internet spotlight on its newest Easter release.

It was with this publication made yesterday that Bauducco, the leading manufacturer of panetones and biscuits has achieved what 10 out of 10 companies dream of achieving: a resounding launch of a new product.

The reaction was instantaneous, the country’s biggest “feud” generated more than 85,000 comments in less than 24 hours. And it was not only the exaggeration of 200% more raisins that generated such an impact, but also the company’s marketing team in social media that responded to several comments with memes adapted to the new mascot of the product, a raisin, of course.

I have not found any information on the composition of the new product and it is not yet known if everything is just another internet bait or if the product will really reach supermarket shelves.

If it is just a joke of the brand to attract the attention of consumers, they will already know that they have in hand a potential product that has everything to succeed, after all, the demand has already been proven.

Edit: The product was part of a marketing campaign to launch the Sneakers Chocolate Colomba (an Easter cake), but they have produced a few units of the 200% more raisins product for real and gave them for leading food influencers in the country. They did not say if next year it will become available for all willing consumers.
